Easter brings us great joy as we exalt you, Jesus, and are energized with hope because of your resurrection from the tomb and victory over the finality of death.

Alleluia! Alleluia! We can abide in confidence and amazement as we, in awe, hear of angels attesting to the Father calling you forth to appear to many     people, giving us cause to rejoice!

Salvation! Thanks to you! The Holy Spirit brings renewal, unity, and promise of eternal life! Seeking you, Jesus, we find you with us. You are the most sacred gift we could ever receive!

The tomb is empty! Times of temptations, trials, testing, and tragedy meet the truth of      fruitful possibilities and redemption, thanks to you, Jesus!

Eternity with our God is the renewed possibility we embrace just as Mary Magdalene      and the other Mary embraced your precious, scarred, newly-risen feet! Jesus, our ever-reigning answer to despair and anxiety! We love you!

Resurrected Lamb of God, we rejoice as you reconcile us sinners to the Father. We are reborn, restored, and we find refuge in you! In a world peppered with pretense, false-  hoods, and misrepresentations, you are real and true and forever!

Jesus, you fill us with jubilation! We know forgiveness through your name! We draw near to you as we journey through life. Our job is to spread the good news of your mercy and love by our words and actions. Help us to follow your example of unselfish love.

Offering thankful praises in this Easter season and beyond, we recall God’s promise to Davidthe promise of kingship for David’s descendant. (Acts 2:30) We are overjoyed that God fulfilled his promise in the person of his Son! Our God is love!

Yearning for you, Jesus, because, yes, we are saved, and, yes, we’d like to yell with our grateful hearts and voices from the rooftops, “Jesus is alive!”

Therefore, let us celebrate the festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice

and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. (1 Corinthians 5:8)

May we all have a holy and healthy Easter Season, savoring our E-A-S-T-E-R J-O-Y!
